Job description/ responsibilities
Reporting to the management team, the Deputy Manager (Hospital Services) shall be based at Delhi and responsible for helping develop and lead SAMS’ practice in this area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work, Support and Supervise the activities of SAMS Team deputed for providing Consulting Services as NABH accreditation facilitator for the Client.
- Strengthen existing quality assurance system and processes being followed by the Client for NABH accreditation and continuous quality control.
- Work as operational team leader of SAMS project team dedicated for Hospital NABH accreditation activities as follows:
- Represent SAMS team for update of QA/QC and other relevant documents for NABH accreditation
- Liaison with nodal person (hospital QA manager) for activities to be conducted and preparation of documents for NABH accreditation
- Carry out gap analysis for the hospital to identify activities/ documentation required for NABH
- Prepare documents for hospitals as per NABH requirements
- Conduct field visits to the hospitals as and when required
- Assist the hospital in initial and final assessment visit by the NABH team for accreditation
- Train hospital staff to comply with NABH standards
- Assess non-compliance report sent by inspecting team and guide the hospital for initiating steps towards compliance.
- Assist in preparation of operational manual, SOPs and HMIS by the hospital
- Follow up with hospital to help prepare for renewal of accreditation
- Liaise with prospective clients (hospitals) for getting the contract for NABH accreditation work
- Develop quality manual and other documents in preparation for SAMS to be NABET accredited as NABH Accreditation facilitator
- Prepare weekly work plan for approval by the management
- Convene and hold meetings with the client for reviewing the NABH work progress
- Supervise activities of the resident representative of SAMS posted at various hospitals/labs/health care organizations
- Suggest methodology for future project expansion
- In consultation with SAMS IT cell, prepare IT based solutions for the hospitals
- Impart training for capacity building of the hospital staff
- Communicate with hospital management at regular interval in relation with progress of assignment and challenges faced, if any.
- Any other work, as asked by the management related to NABH accreditation
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES
Qualifications:
- MBA in Hospital Management / Hospital Administration preferably with Quality Assurance as specialization,
with minimum 5 years work experience as a Quality Manager in a hospital or as an individual consultant with exposure to NABH Accreditation work.
OR
- PG diploma in Hospital Management/ Hospital Administration / Health Care Management / DHA with minimum 8 years of work experience as a Quality Manager in a hospital or as an individual consultant with exposure to NABH Accreditation work

COMPENSATION OFFERED:
Rs.45,000/- per month CTC, but shall not be a constraint for deserving candidates.
